I have been following your train wreck of a bike on the Tank Group--I think if you document what is wrong, someone will be able to stear you in the right direction here.

Yea, its been a real train wreck, you know the thing about it is these bikes are pretty sharp looking, thats what sold me on it..
but anyways.. for all to know---
I have a 2007 vision R-3, the bike quit running a couple months ago, and I mean everything electrical, no power to the lights, starter, ignition, anything, even after putting in a new battery, it made no difference, checked with my om meter, no power to anything, couldnt find a short or cracked wire anywhere.
Well low and behold the other day I went out to the shed and turned on the key and everything was working again, had lights, the starter was flying over like crazy, everything except it now wouldnt fire.
I checked and there is no power to the plug wires, get no spark at all now.
I have contacted tank over and over and they realy have been no help and after 12 calls and more e-mails than I can remember I finally got ahold of a guy the other day who told me a couple things to try , which I did, but they didnt work.
I bought the bike from Extreme-motors here in Florida but they only sell them and can offer no help in trouble shooting.
You know the mad thing is that after I bought the bike, i bought 1000 shares of tank stock thinking that might give me an inside track, but nope.
Any help here, you have no idea how much I would appreciate it.....Randy

Sure seems like everyone with any tank product has nothing but trouble.
Sorry to hear about all the trouble man. You think the ignition switch is the loss of power problem?

Hey, Randy...I know Tina is no help. Did you ever get a hold of Mike Turber from Tank?

Maybe you need to sue Tina or Tank for selling you a defective bike!

I have attempted that, this bike has about a mile too much wire, even some that is run inside the hollow frame work. Havent found any burnt or scared wire, something tends me to think its some sort of electrical component problem, like the rectifier or cdi igniter, but its tough to tell and getting any help from Tank is a joke......Randy

just like the company,,,not much, it has been frozen and hasnt been trading in about 4 weeks..
Its a good thing I have other stock and just bought theres to play with, I kinda knew it wasnt going to go anywhere, plus I only have 1000 shares So it wasnt too big a deal, I hang onto it in the hopes it might be worth something someday, but I am kinda loosing hope in that happening.
Even after telling them I own there stock, it didnt get any action.....o well

Wow, Randy. I can't believe what all of us Tank-ers have gone through. I kind of had it out with Tina on the other forum. Check it out, gang. Read the first post and just click next to read the entire conversation:

http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/...es/message/889

Anyway, Randy. I know you won't get ANY support from Tank, except for Mike T. Look what I and countless others have gone thru. Well, you may want to turn it into a project bike, since the warranty obviously won't be covered. That's kind of what I'm doing with mine. Eventually I'm gonna put a bigger engine in it.

Well, good luck. I hope the Attorney General does something for ya.

have any of you contacted the California Atty General, as they are located in Kali. They are actually quite helpful in that state as far as being on the consumers' side vs. Arizona's (and I am sure other states') "let the buyer beware" mentality. Couldn't hurt to get in touch with them.
