New member, new hawk.
How’s it going everyone? South Florida native here. Just learned about these Chinese bikes a few weeks ago and decided to give it a try. Expecting a hawk 250 to show up Tuesday and excited. Never ridden a sport or dirt bike. I’ve only ever ridden cruisers and currently have an Indian chief dark horse. It’s going to be a shock for me riding a sub 300 pound bike when my current bike is I believe 700 or so pounds. Bought a few upgrades I’ve seen mentioned on the site and I plan on tearing the bike down and loctite and greasing every bolt and bearing I can find. Look forward to being apart of the community.

I'm new here myself From FL. Congrats on your Hawk purchase. I just got a TBR7. Pics are posted up in the pics section if ya wanna check it out. You are planning on doing some carb work right? I didnt even fire mine up before changing out the carb and jetting it with a 115 main. I didnt wanna chance running lean with the factory crap. Be sure to check your chain slack because they ship them super tight. Dont even sit on it before loosening it.

Welcome to the site. Nice to see some folks are still buying the old Hawks.
Nowhere near Florida myself, but it seems like you have lots of company.
