new hellcat won't start
Hey all, I recently ordered & received a hellcat 125. I had ordered a new carb for it to install before starting it up the first time. I assembled the bike & after swapping the carb, I tried starting it and it won't start. I'm getting a spark, I'm getting fuel, it's in neutral, i'm not holding the clutch, kill switch is off. I had swapped the cdi at the same time as the carb with a performance one, but it was physically broken so I re-connected the orginal. The starter is cranking and everything seems to be working but just won't fire up. I am about to remove the carb and open it up, but jeez it being a brand new carb I didn't think I'd need to do that. Any tips? Anyone have this issue?
Thanks! |

Double check good fuel flow. Fuel line was kinked at the tank outlet when I got mine.

I figured it out haha, when I replaced the carb I didn't remove the elbow on the cable for the carb. Removed that, the cable had a bit more slack. It started! Must have been getting flooded.
