70cc quad breather to air filter question
Hello, I got rid of the stock air filter, it had a crank case breather hooked up the the air filter to the crank case.
I have switched to a pod filter, is it safe to just leave the crank case breather dangling or should i cap it off or find a small filter for the end of it on the engine? |

just do like before on the NON EPA motors.. put a hose on it to breathe .. try to turn it away from the motor... downward..... but do not KINK IT.. that will blow the seals if it can not breathe..

Put a fitting on your new air filter and run the hose to it. Then you can burn the crank case gases (smog) as intended by the air box designers. Our 125cc came set up this way from Tao Tao. Here's an example of what it looks like.
