Winter's Here in Nor Cal

Gonna be a chilly day in the shop. Think I'll stay inside and feed the wood stove.

That's sounds like a very good plan.

Oh....and of course, power went out at 5am. Got the generator running for the important stuff like fridge, a few lights and the internet.
I'm pretty sure Lucas Electrics handles our grid here.

Yeah, it was pretty rough here in South Louisiana as well. I had to wear shorts and Flip Flops for Christmas.

Fridge... Say that again, while looking at the picture you posted... You don't need a fridge, you need more beer! Of course, the internet is a very worthwhile endeavor. And as someone who's had more than my fair share of vehicles with Lucas Electrics, I felt that comment in my soul and busted knuckles...

Ahh yes, Joseph Lucas - Prince of Darkness. I've dealt with enough of that stuff to turn me off of British roadsters for several lifetimes... but somehow I keep getting suckered back in

Well, Day 2, still no power. Waiting on the Lucas Electric Company (PG&E) to get everything going. I fear they hired the same loving, caring, people from DMV to work on the power lines.
Currently 27' out and still dusting snow on and off.
Trust me when I say, this fiery puppy has been working overtime. Not bad indoors. Currently 56'. Damn near balmy. It's what I get for sleeping and not feeding it overnight.

It gave us a break most of today, so I whipped a good chunk of it into submission.

Sorry you are out of power, 2LZ, but hopefully you will get a good snow pack in the Sierra Nevada this winter.

This was taken at Donner Pass and I-80 today.
We get the same systems. Some go more north, some go more south. Just depends.....
