How's the seat on the Templar X?
Last fall I got the new Orion RXB and It's a great bike. The only thing I am having troubles with is the seat is very hard and the exhaust is a little loud. I am very interested in the new 6 speed Templar X 250. I was wondering what folks think of the seat and exhaust note of the X? I carry the RXB on the front of my truck camper and cruise back roads and class 4 roads around Vermont so being quiet is kinda nice. I have put on a 38 tooth rear sprocket so speed is pretty good and still goes good on trails. I know the Brozz Recon is very quiet and has a great seat but I'm spoiled with the KKE suspension and six speed ohc 250cc engine. The Templar X is a great deal also. Thanks

Templar X is not noisy when you ride it easy. Pretty quiet actually, even if you use moderate throttle. It gets noisy when you get on it and accelerate hard though.
I find the seat to be comfortable, but I haven't sat on the Orion so can't compare. Unless you sit on it yourself, this is a "eye of the beholder" thing. Same with exhaust really. Is there anyone near you that owns one? |

I think you won’t find too much difference between the RXB & Templar as far as seating comfort and noise. I have a base Templar with a cat delete and it’s only loud to me under load, at peak torque it sounds like a wet fart, I love it.
I can ride about an hour or so before the seat starts to bother. As Thumper said it’s really subjective. |

The seat on the Orion is good for about 20 min. of riding then it starts to hurt pretty good. I rebuilt the seat with some gel but it didn't help much and made it taller. It is just so narrow.
