very weird

So last week when I filled up my bike I put in 1.62 gallons of fuel. the weird part is my tripmeter read 162 kilos since I fueld up last time.

Today I filled the bike up and I put in 1.18 gallons of fuel and my trip meter read 118 kilos since I filled up.

Anyone else run into this "phenomonon" if I spelled that right.

I know I do not have that steady of a wrist to maintain 100 kilos to the gallon week after week.

Yep, depends upon you throttle usage and whether or not you on street or dirt.

Zap, I am sure your poor mileage is attributed to that big 115 main jet. Thats A LOT bigger jet then stock and has to be running more fuel.

I will be trying a 108 main jet to complement my new exhaust and UNI filter that I ordered.

Mileage may suffer, but it may also improve if I don't have to hold the throttle wide open all the time.

Also trying a smaller rear sprocket.

yeah i bet that is what my situation is..that 115. also i recently noticed the plug was black and smelled of fuel. that is when i moved the clip on the needle back up a notch. i am thinking now perhaps I will put my 98 jet back in because gas keeps getting more expensive...
