have we seen an end of the $700 bike?

there arent that many bikes on ebay anymore, and alot of the sites don't even show 200cc ds bikes anymore. the so called grey market bikes seem to have all but disappeared, what do you all think?

Hi Gas Price

It could be that they are out of stock to sell, I know that alot of us

AL can only stop the Lifan bikes from being online, the other brands has nothing to do with them really...

i think its too soon to blame the earthquake, the weak american dollar and high demand maybe. we will surely be seeing an increase in prices soon because of the quake though.

The local dealer I got my Roketa from is still selling them for $899 new in a crate. But I am not sure if he ships or not. He sells the Roketa Tahiti/Fiji 150cc scooters for $799, and the Bali 150 for $999. I asked him about 250cc models and he said that in his market he did not think enough people would buy them for the increased price. He sells a lot of ATV's and Baja type side by sides. If anyody lives near Elrod Indiana, (bout 15 miles west of Lawrenceburg In on US50). I would recomend going to see him... bring a pickup... he will give you a temp tag, and the MSO at time of purchase. His web site is low budget, and shows stuff he does not have and does not show some stuff he DOES have. But he has a HUGE warehouse on site, soon building another one.

One of the biggest things that is making a factor on importing is the 100% EPA law that was supposed to go into effect last year that didn't.
It went into effect the beginning of 2008.
