zanella hawk digital cluster fuel gauge

i installed the cluster successfully this morning... everything is working fine speedo tach gear indicators...


but the fuel gauge was showing one bar with the light flashing... i went and filled her up and she is still showing the same thing... did i miss a step here?


how does the cluster get the fuel level info?

I believe it's in the 9-pin connector. This would be a straight connection, not the ones you had to pin. I would pull it all apart again and look at that connection. Unless you can get to it...I can't remember with mine. I suffer from CRS.


Just found my "manual". The 9-pin connector handles turn signal indicators, high beam indicator, neutral indicator light, fuel gauge, and speedometer. Are all those working fine?

Did you remember to plug the connection under the tank back up? I discovered recently that on mine, it can take longer than expected to start reading the fuel level when ran really low.

everything is working fine except the fuel gauge...


i didnt unplug anything from the tank... i hooked up the main connector at the headlight and ran the rest of the pins down to the gear/tach harnesses... i didnt see any reason to take the fuel tank off...


maybe my sending unit is bad?
