pod diameter needed.

hi yall,

I just got through tearing my machine apart to put in a 105 main jetand to measure the diameter of the inlet portion of the carb so I canorder a pod type filter.

Guess what the main jet is installed, bike runs great!!! looks swell with all the paneling and the stock box back on 8) ..... Still no measurment for the filter :oops:

what diameter of filter do I need? please and thank you :oops:

The size is what ever fits over the carb intake. Pull you old filter and measure the hole in milimeters. Emgo makes em cheap. K&n are good. You can also go with the sock type filter, Kato said they are better. I like the chrome ones, cause I like chrome

I can't remember the size but it's on here somewhere. I got one off ebay for mine. 30mm? Don't quote me on that though because it's been awhile.
