Progress on my repower project

Got the new motor mounted.

The old school muffler had a slight fit problem, and I didnt want to cut it up. I had a late model CRF50 exhaust on the shelf, ready for surgery!

A little cut, heat-n-bend, sleeve and weld!

More surgery to creat a recess for the shock absorber to ride in. Also heated/bent the triangular brace to allow room for a tube between the pod air filter and the carb.

A little high heat BBQ paint, all is well!

To be honest, it got moved to the back burner.

I had to do some work on the CR125, so my daughter can race it at a Loretta Lynn's qualifier...

I blew up my XR400 at an enduro...

And I picked up that '74 Suzuki GT185...

So many bikes, so little time!

She is 16, been riding since 5, just finished her 1st year of adult enduro series in 2nd place for the season. Enduro racing mostly, but she likes MX, so we will give the semi-bigtime a shot!

It lives!!!

Gotta do a little post construction engineering on the trailing wheels, and mount the battery box and starter related wiring someday...

Let the fun begin!
