Got my Roketa (2008, 250cc, tour model) to go on the back of my RV. All I have done so far is a little carb tune and fluids. I paid $1853 in April/08.
A little over 450 mi so far and 1 burned fuse and 1 flat front tire? Well I was riding it across a pasture. I think it was a bead seal problem. No puncture that I could see. A can of fix a flat and a few trips around the block solved that problem. My wife and I together are about 380 lbs. On the flat straight it will get to 65 mph and mostly hold it at 6000 rpm. MPG ahh about 65 running it that way. Smooth, wind acceptable, a little slow out of the hole for 250cc but I am working on it. My expectation of that may be high. This is the 1st auto I have ever been on. Never got to ride an old Hondamatic. Nothing to compare to. Whats not to love about the lil beast. Beyond what I thought possible. I can hardly wait to see the day the Chinese figure out a 1000cc bike. |

I'm seriously considering the CF Moto Fashion 250. It looks fantastic--so 80s. There is cavernous amount of trunk space also. The reason that I haven't pulled the trigger yet is the price--$3500! Does anyone here have one?

And usually, Helixes didn't get worn out, they just got thrown in the corner of the shed and forgoten about, after the carby plugged up from sitting.
Just about got one a year ago, 8,000kms. Sitting 10 years. Told a friend, friend went and bought it before I did. Jerk.. -Vince

Real Learning Experience
2007 Meitian Retro "Turbo 50cc (Ha!)" Purchased 9/07 for $1299
Wiring & trunk latch issues out-of-the box, ate the drivebelt within the 1st hundred miles, broken flywheel magnet rivets within 1000 miles (dealer accused me of ramming something through the cooling fan & shroud!!!), lots of body panel "speed nut" issues (they just don't make 'em like they used to!), numerous additional "little things". Now, on the bright side of things, I've put 4300 miles on it in less than a year (regular oil changes & clean living, thank you!). We work a 7-day week & my round trip is 41 miles over some pretty good paved backroads. When the beast is running well, the beast is quite tolerable, especially in light of 115 mpg. When the beast has a headache, cramp, halitosis or the heartbreak of psoriasis, may as well sit down for a brew & make other transport arrangements for a few days while I'm trying to figure out the cure. |

I have a 2007 Tank vision R-3. has over 5000 miles on it now, in the beginning I had my share of problems, mainly electrical stuff. replaced the rectifier and the CDI unit 2 times, now it runs like a champ and gets about 70 miles per gallon and tops out at 75 mph on flat land.
