I have not really taken the bike out for more than 10 miles at a time yet so maybe that is why I have never felt that......maybe your resting your feet too much on the pegs.....maybe on a cruiser you can do that but not on these...I rest my right foot gently on the brake as well as the peg.....also get boots with a good sole if you dont already have some...I could see foot pain happening if your wearing running shoes.good luck! :P

Doesn't your foot pegs have rubber dampers on them?

Maybe try attaching a tennis ball to each peg to give your feet an air ride.

Sorry its late and thats the best I can come up with.

OHH.... wait..... wait...... I have one more, find the fluffiest rolls of toilet paper and slide them over the pegs just make sure not to undo the glue or you'll have streamers and that would look silly and could be embarrassing.(atleast no one would ask you for a ride)

Actually they should be mounted on a somewhat flexible mount and if not then there isnt much you can do without some serious reworking of the mounts.

Thinking about it, the *Only* thing that was good about the british stuff I owned was the pegs. Really thick, squishy rubber. Maybe a set of repro-Brit Pegs could be bodged on without too much hassle...

Also-- Crappy Shoes=Tingly Toes. Too thin/hard a sole transmits more vibes, than a decent boot.

As well, Even though I do it, try not to put the arch of your foot on the peg. Theoretically the 'ball' of your foot is supposed to be on the peg instead. Supposedly, according to my Slugster-riding buddy, there''s all sorts of nifty nerves and whatnot through the non-weight bearing area inside the arch of the foot, that don't like being a weight bearing area.

**OR!** You could get a set of of JC whitney "Harley-type" Floorboards, and graft them onto your bike... It'd look ultra-hyper-uber stupid, but it'd be the comfy-est GY ever!

Dr. Scholl's insoles might help.

Sounds like your shoes might be too tight.

If your pegs are vibrating that much I would suspect you have a loose engine mount bolt. I had the same problem and the only way I could get it fixed was to upgrade to grade 8 bolts. I was like night and day as far as the vibes go. Oh and I DON'T have the counterbalanced motor either.

You pretty much have to replace all of them.

joeyo25, do you have or can you take a nice picture of your bike from each side with the fuel tank off just showing the engine and frame right around the engine.

I'll show you on your own bike which ones they are.

There are rubber isolation mounts for the foot pegs, but they only allow the peg to move if it is hit, when you have your weight on the pegs, they rest on solid metal tabs on the back.. so the engine vibes go right thru to your feet. I have the same problem occationally.
