I believe those three wheelers are illegal in Canada now. I also knew two people who died on them. Not stable on the trails I think. Some money saved isn't work the ultimate price.

WOW for a second I thought someone had deleted my response to this but then I remembered I was in the DUALSPORT forum and this is another post on a subject that I had already responded to Hmmm...........
You know if you post it in the right forum and leave it there it might, just might BRING some activity to a slower forum. I know time is of the essense but then again you already have my anwser in your other post on this. OK now I'll sip my coffee and wake up and go to my happy place. |

3 wheelers are not dangerous.Idiot drivers are no matter how many wheels they have.Dont blame the machine because of the operator.

I had a 250r 3-wheeler and at times it could be a handful and was pretty quick&fast but when ridden with a bit of thought it was safe enough. Some people like to push things to the edge and then some then not take responsibility when THEY mess up. Although I can say 3-wheelers do have some unique handling characteristics. |

You just can't say one vehicle is just as safe as another. If that's the case then I'll put you on a motorized unicycle and have you go at it....just be good and safe. |

Statistics are funny to me and people throw them out there to make a point but there is a bit more to it than just a statisical number.
On the one hand they do show certain correlations but there is a big DUH factor that is just so obvious that I laugh at the statistics that are thrown out there. The classic for me is : Your more likely to have an auto accident 1 mile from your home.......... My thought is "well DUH" If you look at your home as the HUB of a wheel with all the other places you'd go as spokes then yeah DUH the most traveled area would be the area right around the hub/home which would increase the chances of an accident in that area just by frequency of use. Anyway the problem with 3-wheelrs is not the 3-wheeler as much as the people who dont take the time to learn how to operate them properly but sadly in our world most people are lazy and want everything and every thought done for them. |
