Hey I got one.

Hey guys. I have been looking for a DS for awhile. I don't have to tell you most places are sold out. I got a used one today from a local guy here. It's a 06 Lifan LF200GY. He has put a better exhaust on it. It needs a rear tire and some turn signals on the rear but runs good. I got it for $700.00 Anything I need to look out for? I will put up a pic when I can get one off my phone on to the computer. Thanks.

Make sure and check it over good for loose bolts or anything cracked or broken. If everything looks ok it sounds like you got a nice deal.

Look in this site's FAQs. You probably should use a site like Photobucket, post your pictures there and then post them
following the instructions in the FAQs. Photobucket accounts are free and it makes it really easy to do. I use a Mac, so I have to watch what I tell other people to do, because it may be different, but Photobucket is the way to go, even using a PC.

Give it a shot we'd like to see your bike!

Do you have a volt meter? Test at the light, and work backward till you have current. Fix, sand, crimp, dielectric grease, tape any connection that is faulty. Take your time on a rain day. Sorry man that's all I got.

Congrats on the new-to-you bike. Lifan's are nice bikes and if it runs as good as it looks, you gotta good deal.

Check the bulb first. The china bulb in mine only lasted a few hundred miles and the second used bulb I installed lasted about a 1000 miles.

The vibration takes there toll on them. This would be the simple solution.

1157 bulbs from autoparts stores fit.

If not the bulb get out the voltmeter and check for power at the taillight.

If no power trace the wiring and check the connections.

Likely too would be a lack of ground. That would cause both taillight and brake to not work.

Yep the bulbs tend to get vibrated and don't work anymore.
