new to the site...
okay, so i am at work, doing "work" when i spot a '04 yamoto gy200 for 8 hundred bucks on craigslist! its 2 towns over, a little sun-rotted and the color of a booger i flicked town the highway earlier that morning. anyhow, i decide to get the bike after a short ride down the street and back. i get the bike home by strapping it to the back of my 4-runner. (dangerous as hell) i load my little girl on the back for my inaugural trip, get about ten miles out into the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, and the bike died. not to start again.its a long walk with a 250+lbs bike and a 4year old. i get the bike home, and start the diagnosis. (bike had 90km on it, was laid over by an old guy and he was too afraid to get back on the horse) i checked the plug, and it had spark(for now) i checked the gas and oh, myy god! i never thought i would ever see GEL in the tank! i cleaned the tank, "fuel filter",replaced the fuel line, dipped the carb in dip for a week or so and re-assembled the bike. it ran better. got to the EXACT place i was before when the bike died before and, guess what?!?! it died. so, from then on i knew it HAD to be electrical. thats where this AMAZING website came in! i went back to "work" that night and started looking for china bike sited. it took a couple of days to find id but i did. i searched through the 130 pages for everything that could be wrong and i never saww what i was looking for. there were alot of hints but i never found it. so i used all the hints and i started with the pickup coil. DONE! the bike had sat fo so long outside, not running, that ALL the contacts and inssulators on the poil were just rotted to bits! the bike now runs at around 100km/h stock everything except for my "custom" air filtter.(pulled the stock filterbox out and rtv-siliconed the filter to the elbow.) i just really wanted to say thank all of you for helping everyone else out and helping me in turn i am a "custom" jobber and i will post everything i do to my booger-bike! thank you!

Easiest to use photobucket or imageshack to host your pictures.

Open an account with Photobucket (it's free). Upload your pix to Photobucket and then you can copy the link from Photobucket to your post here. Use the Img box at the top of the page and insert your link there. Not too difficult really. You can also use Imageshack as Kato suggested.
