Completed frame
so i had a little time tonight and i decided to complete the bottom portion of my frame. I took a peice of 3/8"x2" aluminum bar and i bent it to follow the shape of my skidplate, then i added a crossbar that connects to the holes in the bottom of the engine, and then another at the piece of tubing closest to the rear of the engine. I connected the front of the peice to the hole where the skid plate was mounted.
All i can say was for two hours worth of work the difference was like night and day, and i had already made new top mounts and redrilled the mounting holes and used larger bolts and gorrilla glue. |

Night and day, how? Less vibration? Better handling?
Thanks for sharing, been thinking about doing something like that myself.

ill post pics up as soon as i can, it was a night and day difference in vibration. Igot the idea from porterzcustomz, but since i dont have a welder i figured id just bend up theis aluminum and see what happens.
i really didnt expect it to do much, but it is 100 percent better. |
