Newbie from WV
Hey everybody. My name is James. I am 29 years old, and have been riding since age 5. My dad bought me a Honda 50cc bike when I was 5. I live in West Virginia, am married, and have 3 wonderful children. I just recently started riding again after a brief 10 year break. I had a pretty scary accident (was hit by a car), and got scared of riding for a while. The gas prices finally got the best of my fear, though. The wife and I stopped in to look at a scooter at our local dealership. I looked at several scooters, and found one that I really liked. Then, at the back of the showroom, something caught my eye. It was a Qlink Legend. I went over to it, and fell in love. I wanted it so bad.....just didn't quite have the money for it yet. I waited. And waited. And when I finally got the means to get this bike....they were sold out and had no idea when more were comming in. They did, however, get in this new bike-a Lifan LF 250B. When I saw it, I thought it was a bigger bike than a 250. I also thought it was a Yamaha or Honda. Much to my surprise, it was the same price as the Qlink!! I bought it. Now, 1200km later, I am very happy that I got the Lifan. No problems with it, and it is a great ride. Fuel economy is terriffic, too. I am getting around 96 mpg!! I ride it daily as my work vehicle, rain or shine.
Well, that's me..... |

Welcome, Welcome!
Just a warning, a bunch of members have foudn that their odometers read in kilometers, even though the speedo is in Miles... You might only be getting 72mpg... If you know what I mean? Might be something to check! But welcome aboard! --Vince

Hello, Jollyroger, good to see you again
Thanks for donating the Vista Cruiser, it is probably the best mod I have done so far! People here are friendly indeed, this is the best forum in my opinion. Make yourself at home, and enjoy the information here Best of luck, Montani Semper Liberi, Tigertamer
