Here's the trunk I ordered for my GY-5

It's alot smaller than I expected, but I can still get my pullover, clear glasses and my lunch in there...................

Here's the link if anybody else wants one

Not bad for the price, how sturdy would you rate it from 1 - 10?

Cool! It looks like it was made for the bike. How did you attach it?

AWWWWW...... it's so cute! 8O

Seriously though, as long as it works for what you need, it's fine. It looks pretty good on the rack too.

Also!

Where did you get those tires!?! I can see they're Avon's, but which ones? They look good.

Avon Road Riders... I just ordered mine from American Moto Tire, the link is in that thread... It was under $180 after shipping, and conversion to Canadian... Just make sure you hold your order off a few days so they don't send you my tires

Hey, by the way, what does the sticker on your tank say?

Ya I missed that one!

But I just got off the phone with AMT. They said they have a set, and they were going to ship them to someplace 'north'... but to help save fuel, they'd ship them to me first...

hehe.... They look good. When mine go south I'll have to look at those. I was thinking about the Duro's....

Yeah I only mentioned it because last time I tried to get tires from them they were listed in stock and I ordered them, only to have my payment refunded a few days later because they were out of stock... Just hoping to get some new tires soon

Okay, I'll try to get everyone answered. I work all of second shift and half of third so I don't get to see the forum at night. As far as being sturdy I would have to rate it at about 2.7. It actually came with a metal bracket that would clamp around the seat post on one of the razor brand sit down electric scooters. I attached it by using the holes that were already in it and a metal plate underneath the rack, with thin rubber between that. couple of washers and nuts and bolts that were in the bracket that came with it. The sticker on the tank says "It's time to change the air in your head". I had one underneath that, it said " we don't care how they do it in Japan". But it came off at the car wash a couple weeks ago.

Ahh right on, yeah I have the Japan one on mine

My trunk is held on with zap straps:P although, it is actually stronger that way (than how my trunk was supposed to mount)... Not to mention it was easier.
