The Epic Saga is over!!! ( American Lifan Dealer issue)
Thankfully My Paperwork went through the state and I Received my Corrected Title yesterday!! The Bike is Legal!!
I Proceeded to drag the bike out of the shed and give it a good wash down and then I rode the living crap out of it for 2 hours!! Never missed a beat, even with 4 month old gas.. I'll say again though.. No One should ever have to go through the crap I had to go through with this Dealer. |

Thanks for keeping us updated on this matter. Real dissapointing of the dealer. Glad too that American Lifan was willing to help out. Too bad it took so long to straighten out.

Good to hear it's finally over... Hopefully this guy is dropped by American Lifan, he seems to be bad for their reputation...

I am very glad to hear that you finally received justice. I am also happy to hear that you got a nice, 2-hour ride.

good news im have to give credit to american lifan for keeping a eye on the problem and keeping a check on this forum this does show they are doing better and the forum has clout. i also have another question i am thinking of changing the gears on mine and was worried a lot of what speeds it runs in the lower gears, i was thinking of tagging mine,,,, then i also wonder if my dealer would give me a hard time too

Thanks Everyone! Its Been Nice having it in the garage when I come home and not shoe-horned into the shed out of site!
Anyhow It is running great! And I am finally excited to talk about it. Right after I bought this Bike it got about 100 miles on the stock engine before I decided.................."I Wonder what its like at 70MPH?" And Installed a Lifan 140cc Iron Barrell engine with a all up 4 speed. I also kept my recently changed 17t front sprocket and ditched the rear for a 30t rear sprocket. HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It will sit at a gps verified 60 mph has plenty of throttle to spare.... and I'll bet in full tuck and someone dumber than I am it will hit 75mph. But 60mph is nice and smooth! I missed riding it! |
