Anybody have one of these???

Hey all, I just ran across this forum on a search for information on one of these chinese sport bikes, the one I am looking at is the Rokecta MC-113 that can be seen here http://www.roketa.com/product/2628/0/52453.shtml .

I have been riding for years and now need a new bike and want something light and easy to handle, I never seen one of these Chinese bikes in person and was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the MC-113. The bike looks just like what I want and is a price I can afford in my current financial state, I found one for $1899 shipped to my door.

Any info you guys can give would be great, Thanks alot.

ill not go in to roketa much but i would check to make sure its legal in your state, just make sure you can get it tagged. i dont know where your at but its better to pay a little more and have a dealer at least in your state, if you cant,,, get one from a tuffer state, i havent seen the bike but it dont look bad at all, wonder who made it?

I'm located in Georgia and see alot of the chinese scooters and a few cina street bikes around so I guess they are legal here, is Roketa a bad choice, if so who else offers something simular both in looks and price.

I think Tank sells a version of this bike too... called the Khaos. I ran into a guy on the street with one. Nice looking bike, and the engine was very quiet. He said it would run about 85-90 MPH. I bet it would go faster with a sprocket change.

Here is a pic of the Tanks version.

I had a bit of a hassle getting my lifan registered in GA. It depends on your tag office and if you get the right paperwork with the bike. It can be done, but GA is not the easiest state to register in.

The Tank is not the same bike. The Roketa MC-113 is the same as the Jinlun which several of us including myself own.
