Sorta hard to tell with the wheels on, but I think it's 110mm on the rear and 90mm on the front.

Are you able to remove the wheels and measure yours?

Hey,

Stupid question..... How exactly do you measure? from what points, diag from hole to hole or straight across from hole to hole?

I would love to put something bigger on the rear to increase clearance, have had alot of issues getting through trails with big ruts from larger ATVs...

I have been looking at atv tires and sizes to see if I can find something bigger that will fit on the same rim.
The Specs say rear tire size is 18 x 9.5-8..... But yet when I take out my mesuring tape I get 17" Tall 8" wide, and 8" rim... maybe I am just not measuring right....
think this tire size will fit the stockers? 21-9-8

The only thing I think of doing is taking a rear tire and rim in and asking what they can put on it thats bigger....

any input/advise will be appriciated!!

You could probably buy a stainless metric ruler from Staples for around $2.00, and they're handy in the shop.

Caliper you mean? Another handy tool. Cheap ones can be had for about 29-39 bucks.

well has anyone found a set of rims to fit?

mainly the front would be hard to find... that be a tiny bolt pattern. but even if you have to redrill your own set of new bolt holes... just have to make sure you're good at measuring so it doesnt end up out of center!

i got a set of tires for 12" rims for cheap, now once i have some more money to throw around i need to dig deeper for rims.

if i can find a set of honda rear hubs for super cheap im going to pick them up and see if they will slide on to the rear axle.. should be something as simple as the splines matching up.. then you can run honda rear wheels

the rear wheels arent the issue actually. unless it comes down to an odd offset issue which i didnt look into. there are a lot of other atvs sharing the same rear bolt pattern. a few honda's, and some other name brands... i'll update if i find the note i made at work one bored day... i found a website for atv rim bolt patterns.

heres one. http://www.mud-throwers.com/atv_wheel_chart

so the front wheels/hubs are the issue. and i dont know how big a tire you can get away with on the stock suspension. or how goofy it may or may not look. willing to try though!

Bigger tires

Found some larger tires to fit on the stock rims, way more aggresive tread and also helps with the center balance on the quad.
Got them at Princess auto for $80 each and then had to take them to blackfoot to mount them (another $60) as the tire stores could not do it and were shocked I was even trying LOL.
My buddy also fabricated a new bush bumper for it with a rack, heavy duty rack and will help with going through brush with out fighting the steering, as well as gives me a spot to haul firewood I think the entire quad will fall apart before the rack he went way over board on building it strong, but the stronger the better for the abuse I will give it!
Also built an air box as I could not get a snorkel to work, so now its like a honda air box and I can go as deep as my seat with out worrying about killing it. Not sure if you can see it in the picture, but I used a Max kitty littler plastic box to make the air box and it fits like a glove with the UNI filter.
I also paited all my parts black, as I did not like the bright red.
I can truely say it is now a beast! Totally unique and my own! Last trip out I was goin places some 4x4's could not go as my rear axle clearance is now 7 inches (was 3 at best 4 previously with the stock tires)
About the only issue now is the front tires, they are a bit strange being so small, but it works and does not track, drives straight!
Going on a trip for a week next week, with a buch of friends, have a Honda ATC 81, a Gio 125 dirt bike, a 100cc Yamaha and my beast well see who can go farther and deeper this time! I will be sure to post some pictures for everyone when I get back.

BTW the guy who mad ethe bumper si willing to make more for others for a cost, has not said what its worth yet though.

Cameron
