I saw something like that at a Honda dealer in Maple Ridge, BC. It sure is a refreshing style; I wonder if it will catch on.

They've been available in Canada for some time, under another name. The distributor was a Quebec company, but I can't recall the name.
Would be pretty cool with one of those 160 pit bike motors

I would need more than 50cc too. A 140cc should put it into 50-60mph range with a 4 speed.

I guess that would make it more motorcycle than scooter though.
