Looking for compatible pegs

I'm a size 12 boot and the tiny little pegs on the GY200 just aren't cutting it.

Does anyone know of an aftermarket peg that would work?

Can you post some pictures from a few angles? Maybe off the bike as well?

I would be happy to check my Honda fleet for matches.

What would be sweet for road riding would be a pair of those nice rubber covered pegs like came on the old Honda SL series. I would sure be a buyer for some like that.

I wear size 12's as well. I just this evening (believe it or not) went out and was eyeballing my kids 125 pegs. I decided to swap them out with my sons. He has the smallest feet.

Mod link on Thumper Talk...

I also know that Roketa sells them for $7.50 a piece. One day when the funds are available I will probably replace them for him. If he wants. Kids don't really care do they. I tried to message RPM from this forum to see if he could get them but haven't gotten a response back. RPM if you read this you have a message.

Here's the link to Roketa's parts page. Top right hand corner.

I haven't had a chance to ride it yet with them on but I did sit on it and think they will work out good. I'll let ya know.

Dennis Kirk has some extra wide foot pegs that will fit our bikes, maybe you find them online, but the catalog is easier to browse.

Sorry Frostbite, I should have taken a pic to compare the two. My heads so scrambled trying to keep up with everything I always forget something! laughs. I just went out and removed two of them and took a couple pics that I added to the mod on TT. Hope this helps.

I took and rode the bike yesterday with them installed. Only about a mile or so down the road, but I do like the way they feel. Gives me alot more standing ability without the fear of my feet slipping off. Not bad for yet another free mod. Good luck to ya...

It's funny you say that. A few months ago, a guy from an international motorcycle site I belong to was riding from Vancouver to Mexico on a KLR650. I had hoped to have my Jetmoto up and running to ride into Mexico with him, but it didn't work out, due to registration issues I had. On the way out of Mexico, he stopped by, and jokingly said that he would like to trade out the footpegs on the Jetmoto because they bend. (He had dropped his bike a few times in Mexico). We never did try it, but now I know it would have worked!

BTW, Omega, can you show pictures of it?

That is cool. Unfortunately I don't have a KLR650 to barrow them from. Trust me I wish I did. The ones on Roketas site run $15.00 for a pair plus shipping. Not to bad for a better set of pegs.

crappy pics - sorry my camera flash is on the fritz!

oh hey =ImEazy - ask around on KLR650.net or check out ebay - most KLR riders I know upgrade to offroad pegs and just toss/store the stockers....

pics of KLR stock pegs on the GY200 (the blue shit is RTV - I was trying to stop the buzzing)
