New Monster Pipe Installed on Beast
Hey guys,
During our last ride out on the Beast, I managed to blow my pit bike muffler off the quad. Some of you may have seen the videos of the beast rollin up the hills without the muffler. W&G and I finally found some time to do some fixing, and we installed the Monster pipe I've had here for some time on the Beast instead of fixing and putting the old pit bike exhaust back on. I put some fresh premium fuel in it this afternoon, let it warm, took it for a burn around the cul de sac of my parents place to test it out. I have to say these Monster pipes work very well on the Beast. Some of you know this already from your own installs, but I thought I'd rave some more. For the cost, can't get much better. Excellent deep sound on them. With the UNI, Mikuni and new exhaust and CDi, throttle response is excellent. I took a quick vid on my cell phone. It was getting a bit dark though. Notice the easy start and nice running. Thanks to W&G for all the help and his slick Miller welder. ![]() ![]() |

That does sound a lot tougher than the stocker. I like the tone of this one better than the pitbike muffler as well. Well done!

Sounds like some fresh fuel did the trick! We gotta do some more maintenance soon so we can go punish these quads.

Today it started pretty quickly with the choke, but only needed to run about 30 seconds with my hand on the throttle. It died, I closed the choke and it ran like you heard it on the vid. Yes, swingarm bushings for sure and that new chain, hopefully it's better than the elastic on it now..and of course, waynev's decals. I have my sis making me some Superman logos since I'm a nerd and think it'll be cool. |

It is amazing nowadays what technology can do for us. I was actually impressed with the video, it looked better than I thought coming from my Blackberry. To think I can hit two buttons and send that to my Facebook page directly is pretty cool. I ended up just emailing it to my yahoo account, in order to get it on my computer.. from there is just went into photobucket to share with you lot here. waynev: As W&G mentioned on the jets. ![]() ![]() |
