08 Wildfire 200cc dualsport parts?

Myself and a buddy of mine just purchased two Wildfire wfg200ldb dualsports from Wildfire Motors in Stubenville OH.I am curious if anyone on here would know what parts will fit it? Like sprokets exhaust.. and things . Mostly sprockets front and rear I am looking to play with the gear ratio. It sounds like it is going to blow up at 55MPH i would like to cruise 55-60 comfortably yet keep my ratio low as possible for the woods. The way it is geared now is nice off road, but it is just too darn slow for the road.I havent counted my front or rear sprocket teeth yet, but i am just wanting to know what sprockets will fit.... And also I would like to find a brighter headlight bulb.

If you look in the sticky threads you will find alot of information on parts/sprockets etc.

The wildfires are pretty standard chinabike. To cruise at 55-60 you will need a 17/45 sprocket combo or something close. If you are changing sprockets go ahead and get a new quality chain.

Read the setup process. You will want to perform some of the upgrades/preventative maintenance before riding.

No. You have a Lifanoid/Hondoid. Spud has a Zong which is a Yamaha clone. Different animals.

The best all around rear sprocket for you, IIRC is a 45. I don't recall the front sprocket, but it is at least one tooth larger than standard. This will allow you to go faster than 45 MPH at redline which is the way they are geared stock.

This sounds good i will have to go counting some teeth... Will the bulb spud found for a upgrade headlight bulb work?

I believe so. The stock light was pretty marginal and could use improvement.

I found that the 17/45 combo worked the best for all around riding. It still allowed light offroad with tolerable crusing rpms.

thanks you that sounds just what i am looking for just want to be able to do the speed limit right now it isnt possibe comfortably

FastDoc and Katoranger are correct about the sprockets; get the sprockets they recommend.

Are you asking about the H4 headlight bulbs? If so, you might have to modify your headlight assembly to accept the H4 bulbs.

If your bike employs BA20D headlight bulbs, you can definitely use the ones I recommend in the "Zong Sticky."

Yup. That's it.

It will allow a semi relaxed 55-60 MPH top cruise. 8)

IIRC the Lifanoids do use a BA20D headlight bulb so the Zong sticky H4 mod should work. I don't know about the tempurature on the plastic though.

Well I need to tear apart my headlight too then to investigate... Thanks guys for all of your guidance... My buddy was really frustrated with his bike because the headlight being sorry and the gearing too low for highway.... hopefully this will make him feel better about his purchase. i know theese are the things I have been looking for.

Please don't ever take this 200cc Chinabike on the highway. Because of a crash that could have been fatal (hit from behind by a faster car) I don't recommend EVER taking your bike on a road with a faster than a 50-55 MPH posted speed limit.

It is what it is. a fun inexpensive trail bike and commuter on surface streets. NEVER take it on the highway.
