Gas cap for a Baja Phoenix 250?
Anyone know where I could get a gas cap for a Baja Phoenix 250? The previous owner of the bike busted the cap trying to get it off when the key would no longer open it.

Hi SilveradoSS
Do you have the old cap that you could post a picture? If not a picture of the tank opening may help... not sure but it might. Baja: http://www.bajamotorsports.net/

Here are a couple of pic's. Unfortunately, there is part of the cap missing. The bottom is supposed to have a cap with ears on it to engage the neck of the fuel tank. Notice my creative method to get the cap to "bite" the tank bung! Ha!
Photos are from a cell phone, so sorry for the quality. |

Found a gas cap locally. There are three shops that I know of here in Dallas that specialize in China bikes and quads. One of these shops had one in stock.
If anyone has need for any chinese parts, I can recommend these two shops below. I have had good experiences with both. They don't have very good websites, but they have good connections when I've needed parts that they didn't have on hand. http://charlie-son.com/default.aspx http://www.merchantcircle.com/busine...S.972-484-2255 |
