I don't know what the Viva bikes have in the way of sprockets, but 50mph (speed checked by car), wound out, was all my Tank would do with a 50 tooth stock rear sprocket. I just got in a 44 tooth sprocket, hope to get it put on next week and I will let you know.

I have a viva also, need to change to a 44 tooth sprocket from dennis kirk. I personally would change the chain while your at it also. I didn't change my chain, but have adjusted it 3 times in 700 kilometers. They strech real quick. you don't want the chain too tight, keep it loose with about 1 1/2 inch or 2 of play while sitting on the bike.

I've put the 44t sprocket from Dennis Kirk on my Viva and now 60mph is a good cruising speed (indicated 60mph) and I guess I could get 70-75 on a level road. I wonder if the motor would pull a 35t sprocket?

Could you give me your RPM,s at 60 mph with the new 44 tooth so that I can add it to the sprocket survey?

This is where you have a choice...upgrade to a 520 chain with new front & rear sprockets, or stick with your 428 chain and upgrade just the rear sprocket for now. You can get any number of teeth with either setup.
I chose to just get a rear sprocket for now, but I'm an infrequent rider on a budget.
