Raven, Tao, Hawk, Bashan...

Since the Magicians are no where to be found I’m looking at other options.
It would seem that some of these bikes are identical and just rebadged.
Is there a guide somewhere that compares them all?

Also, anyone know who has the Magicians in stock?

Thanks

I think stock is pretty low on alot of china bikes right now. I don't have a list of the differences but that's a great idea...hmm maybe I need another little project. HAHA.

Is there something specific you're looking to find out. I know the hawk and TBR7 are quite similar but the TBR7 has smaller wheels/tires. I'm not all that familiar with the Bashan, and from what I hear the Raven is pretty similar to the Hawk as well but I've not seen one yet and haven't looked it up either.

Not alot of help I know.

I just ordered a Tbr7 since that was all I could find in stock for a decent price.
We’ll see how it is.

I personally think you got a better bike. I am not a magician hater, but not a fan either. I really like the TBR7s... Congrats!

Thanks man. In 61 years old and need something to ride the fences at the ranch.
I’ve ridden dirt bikes all my life up until 20 years ago. I’m sure this will exceed my abilities now.

17t front sprocket, Carb and exhaust??? What else?

You probably can not get the 17t sprocket on without a longer chain, or smaller rear sprocket. I could not get it on mine.

And if you are running fence lines and such you might not want it. Mine will plug along at walking pace at idle in first gear.

If you are using it as a true off road bike you will want to change the tires. The stock tires are a good compromise for mostly road use. They are not blocky enough for real off road use.

And yes, you got a much better bike in the TBR7.

This is true.

Also, since some of the tbr7s are shipping with 530 chains, wait to see what you get before ordering.

Personally, for riding the fence lines where you may be stopping allot, I'd get a good battery before I got a different sprocket.
