Quick update on the carb - so I rode it a bit, let it idle a bit, rode it a bit more, for about 10 minutes....then grapped a flat head bit and started in on the idle mixture. So at a little past 3 turns out it starts to stumble pretty good, so I went back the other way but I got pretty close to all the way in, I couldn't turn it anymore but suspect it had another 1/2 turn to it, anyway it never stumbled. So that would suggest my pilot jet needs to go bigger right?

maybe my expectations are too high for the off idle, so what I might do it pull the carb and go back up to a 38 pilot (35 right now) and then see if I can get the idle screw centered better and then just ride it and see how she goes.

Also once the engine got hot the valvetrain seems pretty noisey to me and I used to ride a DRZ which are notoriously noisey so I'm wondered if I'm' a touch too loose on my valve lash also. Might be worth pulling the cover and double checking myself.

Just for reference, my PZ30B uses a 40 pilot with the CAT removed and I ran that in otherwise stock form before. Does that PZ30B use a "cold start" or a Keihin pilot jet?

It uses Keihin jets - I have a 35 in right now but actually think I need to go back up to the 38 and then adjust my mixture screw. It runs fine how it is, I actually went out for a shrot ride but I think it's a tad lean

Well guys I've got 25 "units" on the bike now....I'm assuming they are KM because there's no way I went 25 miles but I dunno. Anyway, I need to make some adjustments but overall I'm impressed with what they can do with a $1500 bike.

Next up on the list is I'm gonna order an exhaust, and I'll be installing my digital dash within the next few days.
