I just checked the CSC parts website, and I noticed the 42T, 43T, 45T and 46T rear sprockets are listed for sale.

I'm probably going to try the 45T or 46T as I'm using mine a bunch for trail riding. The 13T was a big improvement but I think the 45T would be just right in combination with it.

Nice to see CSC responding and selling these accessories.

I have been running a 13T/46T sprocket combination for about 4,000 miles, and I like it a lot. However, I barely managed to fit my stock, 110-link drive chain over this sprocket combination. My drive chain was new, but had a chance to do the slight, initial stretching (elongation). Therefore, be advised, you probably should order a 112-link drive chain if you are going to run a 13T/46T sprocket combination.

The 13T/45T sprocket combination will fit the stock, 110-link drive chain.

Oh SpudRider, I could only locate a 45 rear, I don't think I ever saw a link to the supplier you got your 46 from, can you share that with us?

Also, with your 13 front, what "supplier" on Taobao did you get yours?

I had reorder mine after the initial 13 was supplied as a 14, the supplier sent 14's on the second order and fortunately the agent sent pic's this time so he was able to reorder again from another supplier and finally got the 13's; they are "in the mail".

I picked up my Shinko SR244, 4.60 - 17, rear tire yesterday, got a tube for it a few days ago and need to get the new 2.50 - 17 rim from the city, hope to get this all set up early Oct.

Since I modified my sprocket carrier, I can use JTR811 sprockets.

http://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=15125

RX3 owners in the United States can now order 42T, 43T, 45T, and 46T sprockets from CSC, and don't need to modify the sprocket carrier.

Since you are ready also to modify your sprocket carrier, you can find the 46T sprocket very easily; just do a web search for 'JRT811.46.'

Good for you, Robin.

However, early October is past. Perhaps you can aim to finish in early November.

You do know that CSC just had them approved in Canada, don't you? Reasons for you to not have one are quickly dwindling.

As Jay said, the RX3 is now officially approved for sale in Canada. On October 14, 2015, CSC announced their 'Don't Miss the Boat II' sale for Canadians. I hope it is still in effect. Check out the details at the following link.

If our dollar was stronger (like last year), it would be a much better deal. CSC has no control over that, I know.

$3000.00 USD now cost us roughly $4000.00 CAD.

I just posted a ride report of our trip up to Rollinsville and the Moffat Tunnel. Bonus pics of some spooky cabins we found up there!

And then there is this problem...but at least...at least the last hurdle to having a sweet sweet RX3 is the all mighty dollar...

"The CSC Blog reports a fellow rode his Zongshen RX3 a distance of 30,000 kilometers from China, to England. He will complete his ride in Barcelona, Spain, after traveling a distance of 20,000 miles."

That should answer any questions about the RX3 being a real "Adventure Bike".
