Not hard to sorce con rod blanks to machine what ever length rod you require..

Yes a bit more involved.
Been kicking around ideas with other engine builders and we tend to not include the technical details of each possibility as we are familiar with them. I responded here with that mindset.

Anyways I can not wait to be testing my prototypes in a few weeks.

And maybe I will build an all out power engine and test to failure. See how far I can push parts.

Got my Hand Guard mounted, installed a set of 1 1/2" risers on the handlebars and this cured the dash interference but will still interfere with anything plugged into the lighter port at full turn...

Is installing a set or risers as straight forward as unbolting the handlebars, inserting the risers and rebolting the handlebars? Any adjustments needed to cables?

(just for reference, yes I'm a complete newb to working on a motorcycle and no, I still don't have my bike yet)

Yes, the process is that simple, unless the cables are too short when the handlebars are raised. However, I think the cables on the Zongshen RX3 are long enough to prevent that problem.

Just got a new toy for lifting my Rx3 off the deck. Will do the car as well.

Seems quite good though I was the only one impressed.

The wife wasn't as the delivery man left it propped against the door and she struggled to get in the house.

The cat wasn't arsed but liked the box it came in

I stepped out and took a few quick picks (at work) you can see the 1 1/2" risers in one pic pretty good....this gave it much more clearance for the dash, and it "just" clears the brake line...maybe 1/16" clear there.


There was just enough slack in the cables for the 1 1/2" risers

I am definitely not retiring the Zongshen Sierra 200 (ZS200GY-2). My original Zong is much better suited for off road riding than the RX3, since it is lighter, and has a better suspension. The RX3 is vastly superior on pavement, and much better suited for adventure riding given its larger engine, luggage, windshield, 300-watt alternator, et cetera.

The Kenda K270 looks great on the front wheel, and performs very well. I will post more photos of the front tire, soon.
