Best is to use a quality O-ring safe chain lubricant. Ones with high molibendium content work best but can leave a black mess. The newer white wax based products continue to improve and stay a lot cleaner.

I also agree that everyone has their own opinion on chain lube and engine oil.
DuPont Teflon spray. In the blue can.

Took another look at the cooling system tutorial and noticed a radiator guard on this pic of the right-side radiator.

The radiators are pretty well protected in there. On the outside, they're blocked by the engine bars, then a metal plate. And from the front there's a plastic stone guard. For most people and situations that ought to work just fine.

maintenance totorial manuals

CSCdude, Joe I believe it was you who mentioned each owner of an RX3 would receive a maintenance manual you were working on. Does/is the manual include/comprise all the excellent tutorials you guys have been posting lately on your CSC blog? If not ,I'd be willing to pay for a hard copy or file to print out my own. thanks for all the excellent work you guys have done in bringing the RX3 to USA. rj

It does, and more. Thank you for the good words and for being a CSC customer. No need to pay for the manual; you can buy me a beer in Baja...

After we park the bikes for the night, of course...

Wow, I'm not a super moto fan but, I just love the look of the RX3 shredder. I was admiring the photo when, duh, it occurred to me. CSC not only sells bikes, they also design and build. Starting with the basic Cyclone platform, they can design and build a myriad of models and accessories. Hmm, let's see now. How about a RX3 Hack?

Hey lads. I have one question.

What is the dimension of the supplied top box? Can it fit inside a Kriega US30?

Comparing it to Kriega US30 dimensions, I would say that the stock top box will barely fit inside the bag.

I'll know the verdict once I get the bike tomorrow. Soo excited!

But gotta catch a ride first with my friendly neighbour in his van to the dealer, which is some 200km away from where I stay and work.

I'll post up the details of my luggage setup, which includes a US30, US10, R25, an off-the-shelf 23-litre drybag, and good ol' Rokstraps.

crated weight?

What is crated weight of the US Rx3? Want to know so when it shows up how easy it is to slide crate around on cement floor while assembling it. Cramped for room.
Is the Germany any where near the Queen Mary exhibit? I think it's in the same LB harbor .Thanks, rj

Get 3-4 pipes 1/2 or 3/4 or even some broom handles to get under the crate. One person can handle 1000 lbs that way.

Also, what are the crate dimensions? I wonder if I should get a roller dolly like this one to maneuver it in my one-car garage.

About the delivery date, no one is more disappointed that me, but even if we knew the right date two weeks ago, it wouldn't be here any faster. Thanks for being up front about it.

Joe, you're a gentleman for owning the mistake.

Here's looking forward to Spud's tracking of the Xian Fei Zhou!
