Colombia AKT 250 TT

New AKT 250 TT (rebranded Zongshen RX3)!!! Anyone else in Colombia with one? Was not thrilled with getting a carb version vs EFI, but carbs can be repaired, replaced easier?? So far very nice bike( except clutch way too tight, needs serious adjustment). Not my 650vstrom, but plenty of power when you need it.

I generally prefer colourful bikes, but I really like the black RX3 and your silver accents look really good!

Nice bike! I like its colour. Didnt know that ZS makes black plastic models..
Now that I observe the rear segment without the side box.. it seems that in off road conditions, it could be desirable to install above the rear wheel some kind of lower mud fender.
Somewhere I had spotted such a pic..
Does anyone know about that?

The special edition bikes from Zongshen have the lower rear fender. You need a different swingarm which has the fender mount on the right side.

But, what if riders like to install a fender after they purchase the 'normal edition' of RX3??

First, you need to purchase, and install the special swingarm which has the fender mounting bracket. Then you need to purchase the fender, and the fender mount.

It looks nice and seems will protect adequately the passenger fom mud and sprayed water etc..
I hope it has enough room even with the rear 17" wheel installed..

We BMW guys call those lower rear plastic mud guards "possum scrapers".

They're usually the very first thing to break off of the old F650 Singles and twins and F700/F800 twins. I know from experience.

Mud gets stuck to the tire, builds up, and breaks it off. Other times, bouncy trails cause it to flop around, eventually catching a rear tire lug and it snaps off.

As far as I know they're only on the BMW bikes because the EU regulators require the tire coverage for road bike.
