I like the idea of the quick oil drain, but have one concern regarding not having the magnetic plug and not cleaning it at every change. I always find a little crud on the magnet and appreciate that it provides a visual into how my motor is doing. Besides, what rider worth his salt doesn't have a little oil under his fingernails.

Sweet Spud, I'm looking forward to seeing the new one from you guys and how well it works. My old original one worked fine when the bike was stock. When I switched to larger tires, it raised the bike and made it even easier to put up on the center stand because it didn't have to go up and over as far to pivot it into position. Now I've lowered it back down with a lowering link . Which made it harder to get up on center stand. I've since added the Progressive shock and haven't tried out yet cause of the weather and being sick with cold the last 10 days. rj

I might not mount my center stand for a while; it is pretty cold here in East Idaho. However, I certainly will report my impressions after I get it installed.

Take care of yourself, Rob. I hope you recover soon from your head cold.

Thanks Spud. I have to admit this house arrest weather is getting to me. I have a insulated garage with a little heater in it so it stays 45-50 deg so at least I can go out and work on the bikes without it being too uncomfortable. rj

I should get a heater for my garage. I have a lot of parts stacking up and a bike begging for me to put them on.
