Just realized that I have lost perspective having moved here from Spokane 11 years ago. Still don't like having to scrape frost. If I could leave for work at 0800 instead of 0700 it would be melted.

Ye I ended up buying aftermarkets too for the very same reason. Stock mirrors may be pretty but that angle cut in the outside edge is bad functionality wise.

We told him to avoid riding like that, but hey, he's grown up and ultimately is his choice :(

That is now 2 sources quoting lower tyre pressures than the UK RX3 recommended tyre pressures.

Colombia RX3

Front 100/90-18 26 psi
Rear 130/90-17 28 psi (32psi with passenger)

My centre tyre wear was abnormal and worn out after 3000 miles, typical of an over inflated tyre, not the usual centre wear that one would expect.

I should of noticed it earlier

Having now ridden my bike with lower pressures, the bike feels good on the road with no problems. Hopefully i will get a few more miles out of these tyres now.

If you read the tyre, it says "maximum load blabla at 36psi". There's no way that a maximum load value is for general daily usage. Thats the MAXIMUM for when you are 2 up and heavily loaded. That's my opinion at least.

Yes, exactly what I thought, so up until now i had been using 30psi front and 32psi rear. Still too high it would seem.

Especially with me weighing less than my helmet

These lower pressures of 25/26psi front 28 psi rear seem much better
