Detours to Longs Peak - 9/19/15
Just a few pics of our trip to Estes Park yesterday. We stopped here at this overlook of Longs Peak, near Allenspark on CO Hwy 7.

My wife is getting famous! Two people on our ride said they see her riding around all over town in her bat helmet. One near home was a postman who took a selfie with her for his son, and another was way up in Estes Park. People smile and wave all the time and take pics from their car

Here's a nice shot of my RX3 with my SW-Motech tank bag that locks onto the tank ring. It is soooo convenient to keep my water bottle there on rides instead of in the top box. Plus, if it leaks, it doesn't rust all my tools

Near Allenspark CO on hwy 7, we stopped at the Saint Malo Center to visit the Church on the Rock. Beautiful spot for a break.

Does BatNurse own a Helmet Dawg helmet? Inquiring minds want to know.

Yup, it's from helmetdawg.com
It's a very high quality helmet with lots of venting. The bat ears look like sharp plastic, but they are soft foam and pliable to the touch. They also don't create much wind noise. However, in very strong winds it's more tiring than a regular helmet.

Soft foam is certainly much better than sharp plastic on a motorcycle helmet.
