I believe this bike has an actual 250cc engine. In addition, CSC has ordered the bikes with USD forks, and disc brakes on both wheels.
I'd be interested in a confirmation. I've yet to see an actual 250cc CG engine that is not liquid cooled. It is more likely to be either 223cc or 230cc.

If my memory is not failing me, Joe Berk told me it is a 249cc Zongshen engine. I believe either HumanBeing, or Joe, can verify such a motor exists.

I had several questions to ask, so I called CSC today. I inquired regarding the engine size of the TT Special. CSC did believe the engine was 249cc, but they discovered they were wrong. Once again, you are correct my friend.

Spud,

Did they say what the bore and stroke are, or the engine number?

No, I didn't ask. However, I will ask the next time I call.

You are correct, the actual displacement is 230cc's, or eight fluid ounces.
What else do you know for sure about the CSC's TT250 bike?

If you're asking me, I only know what I see. CG (pushrod) counterbalanced motor, inverted forks, disc front and rear, air injection reaction device in the exhaust, Keihin-style carb and what looks to be a comfy saddle. Sharp bike.

Any "guesstimate" on the weight of the TT250?
I'm hoping that the weight will be close to 250 pounds or 115 Kgs.

Could be, although typical Hondoid dual sports are usually made of rather heavy steel. I wouldn't be shocked to find it north of 300lbs.

I'm new to the forum and I'm super excited to announce that CSC became $1,000 richer this evening and I'm super pumped for the TT250 (White). Has anyone thought about exhaust/muffler mods to free up the exhaust for those of us not in CA?

I really wish CSC would post some more photos and some more videos to keep us busy until these puppies arrive on American soil. Am I the only one that has watched the 2 main videos multiple times? Haha

Patience, boys....I'm in Japan right now. As soon as I get back to So Cal and shake off the jet lag I'll put something up.
