First day on the Hawk.
Put nearly 40 miles on the Hawk today after putting it together last night. Few things I noticed is the forks feel as if they are bottoming out over flat terrain. At 42 MPH I get a horrible wobble on the front end. Other than that this thing is a ton of fun.

Got it home this evening and discovered my bike had lost spark, thinking it's a bad CDI unit. Hoping I'm not going to be working on this thing every 40 miles

I had all kinds of issues that cropped up on mine. But after I got everything worked out it has been problem free. Keep at it you will get there.

Has anyone dealt with txpowersports.com for warranty issues. Just curious if it's a hassle and should just buy the parts myself.

I had a bad blinker module and I sent them an email and got a replacement. It took a week and a half to get to me though. I ended up buying one myself and had it much quicker.

Adjust your valves, most hawks have arrived too tight, this can lead to hard starting IME. |

Checked all connections. After a new CDI, coil, and plug no fire. Stater is generating current, not sure where it's losing power.

I thought the kill switch could be the issue to so I bypassed it with a jumper. Didn't fix it. I 've got fuel and air. I emailed the dealer yesterday still waiting for a reply. It's got to be something simple, having to wait is annoying.

https://www.kazumaracing.com/trouble...s-p-13392.html Not sure if these are the same CDI as your bike, but you get the idea. You can eliminate portions of the harness at the CDI for diagnostic purposes. I'm sure Dan is a nice guy, but he is still talking about adjusting ignition points....can't remember the last time I saw a set of points. |
