So I was going to go this route and I wasn't sure how I was going to do it...I thought about drilling the inside of the plug and epoxying a neodymium magnet in there. However, i found some decent looking magnetic drain plugs on Amazon for $9. I'm going to give that a go first and see how I like it. M12X1.5 I believe is the size, I can find it in my orders and get a link if you're interested.
