Sticker on the front fender
Can someone please send me a picture of the label sticker for the front fender? I'm trying to get my Hawk bike registered with the DMV and they want a picture of "Federal Certification Label" Mine was taken of when I power washed the bike. Please see attachment.

It is a metal plate, not a sticker. And the Hawk doesn't have one. You are out of luck.

The NON DLX version of the hawk is actually not federally certified for road use. Not sure what state you're in but I know there are a few that are real sticklers about it, California for certain, I think New Jersey as well.
Those stickers on the front were one of the first things to come off my bike, HAHA. I don't even remember what they said, something about nobody under 16 or something I think.

There is an old thread around here somewhere on it by Emerical ,but I am pretty sure it was actually Jerryhawk who set him up with the above guy .Its buried in a thread titled new rider in Georgia or something like that .It worked ,it was inspected and tagged . |

Actually I gave you some slightly wrong info ,I just looked back at that thread and it was done with another vendor with a sticker .The thread title is “calling hawk riders ,new rider in georgia “ you should read the thread as he went through the same crap as you .
