This has me curious. They may have changed the springs they used in the forks if your spacers are that long. Both of my Hawks had enormous springs with little tiny 15mm spacers.

As far as material. Yes PVC will hold up just fine if it is what you have. Otherwise almost any sort of metal tubing will work as well. I used bronze because it's what I had. Hard to beat free lol

They are about 1.5 on my 2021 I put a 17mm socket on top of them.
