hey dagger , have u checked the fuel cap vent , if it gets plugged fuel delivery will be very slow at high rpm's, or it wont run at all,

these china carbs are crap

i put 3 on my sons bike before it finally ran right , same issues as yours, is yur carb a 30pz, wen yu open the fuel bowl drain screw does fuel trickle out or run out, just stuff to look at.........

yu might have to small main jet,i run a 98 in my sons and he has a 30PZ carb.
, what color is yur plug. ?

happy testing

I think I finally have everything figured out. Seems something was amiss. I took apart the carb and cleaned it with some thin wire and carb cleaner and now it runs alot better. Thanks for all the help guys. Got 50 miles on her now!

fuel filter

contrary to popular belief, an in-line fuel filter on a bike just doesnt always work out on a gravity feed system. I have removed several over the years, and cured many a similar problem.
