I was apprehensive before buying my hawk. it's turned out to be a really good deal. you have to go in understanding that these bikes need a little tweeking to get them adjusted properly. you might run into a few minor glitches as you put them together, but it varies by bike. I had to bend a few brackets to get everything to line up as I went. Nothing major though.
Plan to buy a carb and jets. you'll spend about 50 bucks total for that. also you may want to change out sprockets depending on what kind of riding you plan to do with it. Most everyone I have read posts from on here have either been totally pleased, or expressed a little frustration until they got it dialed in. There's a good variety of experiences on the forum, so we can talk you through most anything you run into. |

They won't come with a title. The titling will be up to you. It will however come with a MCO and bill of sale which is what you will need to get it titled with your local DMV. Depending on what state you live in you may or may not have trouble with titling. I had no issues with my DMV. |

Welcome to here! It seems that the Hawk is a good deal from all the people who own them. You won't be able to title in Penn.--just be aware.

Thank all you guys for helping answer my questions. I live in Kentucky. Guess I will find out how hard it will be to get Titled.

You're in luck. I would say you should have no problem getting your bike titled. I'm just using all the neighboring states where people have got their bike titled and licensed no problem. I know that I had no trouble here in MO and there are some in IL and TN. And Kentucky is about like TN and MO in their driving laws so I would assume you will have 0 issues, so long as you have your MCO and bill of sale.

If you want a quick MCO DO NOT BUY from Motobuys.com, they have quite a reputation for horrible customer service. I have a thread around here with the latest vendor prices, I will link it once I figure out how to do that.

They come with a blank title, we are now prioritizing MSO shipping so that a completed one arrives faster. Make sure when you order you ask the vendor to immediately start the process, but we are no longer waiting for them to request one and will send them automatically.

As far as fast, efficient paperwork, this mail-order firm seems to be top-notch http://www.apscusa.com/ and Adam has a link to one called Q9 powersports on his post which I am sure would do you right, as well.

Welcome to the forum.
A good Chinese bike will be a good bike. No real dealer support and many local mechanics shy away from them but the basic care and feeding of a Chinabike is simple enough and this is the right place for any help you may need.
