Seems like I've fixed a lot of stuff with good old Gorilla Glue. Oh and let's not forget the good quality duct tape, I'm talking about the $20 a roll of duct tape. Good stuff

I had some China plastic start with hairline cracks and then open up to full cracks. I took the plastics off the bike and on the back smeared over all the cracks hairline and full cracks with two part epoxy and never a problem since. You can't even see the cracks on the front of the plastics. The two part epoxy bridged the cracks and made them rock solid. I used this:

Light cure rocks. Your dentist has been using it for decades and if it can take the torque of chewing, hopefully it will work on Chinese plastic.

and the glue used to hold a rear view mirror too.

one "flaw" if it is one would be the flexibility of the glue being different from what is broken.

Do you just use the sun, or do you need an UV-bulb?

not all glues even uv cured are formulated to adhere to various plastics. different 2 part epoxies will, some uv cure epoxies will, some urethanes will.

from auto body shops the adhesive/filler for flexible body panels and bumpers will stick to pretty much anything.
