Bite your tongue, Pete. I never put KTM sickers on my Zongshen ZS200GY-2.

After my Zongshen RX3 arrives in Idaho, I will own two orange bikes (Zongshen), and two red bikes (Honda).

This is really an iconic moment for China bikes. Congrats to all that have purchased.

It would be cost prohibitive, price in peru is around USD3900, expected price in colombia for the carbureted version is around USD3700, there goes a USD200 diff already and to import the bike duties and taxes are around 33% (crazy taxes here) so final price would be well north of USD5000 so its not a viable option, I guess I´ll stick to the carb (im somewhat good working with carbs) and spend the money on the aluminum cases and LED headlight

for the reply.

Indeed! I'm looking forward to many awesome ride reports in the near future. I also anticipate threads that detail mods that will personalize the bikes.

To me, no carb means no fuel pump or FI components. I have no problem with using a carb.

You're welcome.

I think you are wise to stick with the carbureted engine sold in your country. The Zongshen RX3 will be my first motorcycle with EFI. I own four other motorcycles with carburetors, and I don't have any problems with them. I agree with Weldangrind. Once you get a carburetor properly jetted and adjusted, it provides excellent service.

I agree on both points.

This thread has been an excellent place for us to gather as we awaited the arrival of the RX3 motorcycles in North America. After the bikes are delivered to the new owners, I anticipate many new threads on individual modifications and ride reports in our various forums.

May even warrant a dedicated Sub-forum for the RX-3......

Same here in Colorado, except mine is red (the one with more torque). The foothills are ready to go, but some of the roads/trails I wanted the RX3 for won't melt until June or July anyway.

+1 I know highstyle motoring manages to have free shipping on their bikes, I'm not sure how though as the bikes are still cheaper than other places. I dont think we expect free shipping on the RX3, but when will delivery start?

One of the posts by Joe @ CSC said containers were arriving for a few days. I assume that means no shipping will commence until all has arrived. So probably early next week the first bikes will start to be loaded onto trucks for their journey to each of us.
