I had that sort of problem once, and Im not sure how I fixed it......I turned the screw on the carb.I think the fuel mixture screw or something until the fuel started to pour out the overflow tube...

I think the taillight wire is the brown wire on...

I think the taillight wire is the brown wire on the harness make sure both ends are fully into the connector tabs, my brake light wire pushes out of the connector tab when I attach the tabs...

I got a DOT Tridon it has 2 PRONGS in a 90 degree angle.no mod needed, I just zip tied it to the frame... it is a standard flasher they sell at Canadian Tire up in CANADA!
